The information provided on this website and in associated knitting patterns is for reference and personal use only. Knitting is an art, not an exact science. While we strive to ensure all patterns and tutorials are error-free, inaccuracies or typos may occur. Any reliance on the information provided is at your own risk.

2. Maker’s Responsibility

As the maker, the finished product is your responsibility. Knitverse provides content "as is." We cannot oversee your making process, material choices, or the environment in which the items are used. Please ensure your finished projects are fit for purpose and safe for the intended wearer.

3. General Safety Precautions

Knitted items are not toys. Unless explicitly stated, items made from Knitverse patterns should not be used in play or as toys for children or pets.

• Infants & Children: Never leave babies or children unattended with knitted items (e.g., blankets, hats, or scarves).

  • Choking Hazards: Pom poms, buttons, beads, and small embellishments can become loose. We do not recommend adding these to items intended for infants.

  • Strangulation Risks: Avoid cords or drawstrings around the neck area of sweaters or hats. Ensure decorative cords are securely fastened.

  • Sleep Safety: Do not allow infants to sleep with knitted blankets or wear knitted items (like hats) while sleeping, as fingers/toes can get caught in stitches or fabric may pose a suffocation risk.

• Pet Safety: Keep yarn scraps, needles, and finished projects away from pets. Ingesting yarn or small notions can cause serious internal injury.

• Sharp Objects: Store scissors, knitting needles, tapestry needles, and pins securely and out of reach of children and animals.

4. Materials & Allergies

Always follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for the yarn and tools you purchase. Be mindful of fiber content if you or the recipient have skin sensitivities or allergies (e.g., wool or synthetic dyes). Ensure your yarn meets local fire safety regulations for garments.

5. Digital Products

• Format: Patterns are provided as digital PDF files only. No physical item will be shipped.

• Compatibility: Ensure your device supports PDF readers (like Adobe Acrobat) before purchase.

• Refunds: Due to the nature of digital downloads, all sales are final. Please review product details carefully before completing your purchase.

6. Copyright & Usage

All patterns, photographs, and text on this site are the intellectual property of Knitverse. These materials are for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not share, redistribute, or resell the digital files or printed copies without prior written consent.

Students under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when attending classes.

Participants aged 13 and above are welcome to enrol in selected courses with a parent or guardian present.
